Food & Beverage Supervisor

Contract: 20 Hours weekly (Additional hours available during event weeks)

Salary: £13 per hour paid monthly £1126.66.

Accommodating up to 3600 people for ice hockey games and 5,200 for other events, Braehead Arena is fast becoming one of the go to venues in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the F&B team on event days and more generally in absence of F&B Manager
• Supervise all staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in all food and beverage areas
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests in line with company standards
• Assist in the planning, preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently along with reconciling of shifts
• Assist in stock control, replenishment of inventory and monthly stock takes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work as part of a larger team and also individually
• Ability to work on own initiative and within tight deadlines
• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage/Hospitality role is preferred
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Personal Licence is preferred but not essential
